Natural gravel, concrete paving, wood fencing, layered planting, and warm lighting establish a comfortable and approachable character that feels connected to the home and its surroundings. Casual Planting with Color, Texture, and Warmth
The planting design reinforces the relaxed character of the landscape through a mix of colorful accents, textural grasses, succulents, and screening shrubs. Rather than creating formal garden rooms, planting is used to soften transitions, frame gathering spaces, and bring seasonal interest throughout the property. In the front yard, planting enhances the fire lounge and entry experience, while in the backyard it provides privacy and a natural backdrop for dining, lawn, and seating areas. Together, these layers create a landscape that feels welcoming, comfortable, and easy to enjoy year-round.
